Community Access

As a registered provider, Community First Step offers Community Access services that support people with disability to engage more fully with everyday life and connect with the community.

We work alongside you to build confidence, develop everyday skills, and make meaningful choices about how you spend your time.

 

Support can include:
  • Attending medical or other appointments​

  • Shopping trips and errands 

  • Recreational activities and hobbies

  • Social events and opportunities 

  • Activities that enable an individual to develop individual skills and competencies

  • Building skills for independence and self-esteem

  • Supporting you to access vocational, educational or community-based programs
