Phoenix Voices of Youth Choir Performance

The Phoenix Voices of Youth Choir had the pleasure of performing for His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, and his wife Mrs Hurley, on Tuesday 20thNovember 2018 at Fairfield Youth and Community Centre.

Phoenix Voices of Youth Choir, consisting of more than 30 members from Fairfield High School and surrounding areas, sang a diverse range of songs including City of Starts fromLa La Landand This is me from The Greatest Showman.The Choir united together to beautifully celebrate the multicultural society combining many different countries, cultural backgrounds both born here and overseas.

CFS Interim CEO Lesley Jordan said “ it is so wonderful to see these young men and women come together, creating something incredible that truly represents the talented multicultural fabric of the Fairfield Community. We are so proud to be supporting the Choir and providing an opportunity for young people to find their voice.”

The event was hosted and supported by Community First Step (CFS) a preferred provider of community services in the Fairfield community.
